The Board gave final approval to the proposed changes in the HHIA by-laws as introduced at the March 19 Board meeting.

L.A. County Deputy Sheriff Brian Sanford stated that the focus is on residential burglaries thinking that a raise in truancies may be the cause. An arrest was made for possible possession of controlled substances and weapons charges. Mike Smith introduced two of his new officers, Lieutenant Jimmie Baldazar and Operations Lieutenant James Wolack.
